What's In the Clearinghouse Database?
The Clearinghouse database contains records on more than 80 million current and former students from
over 3,200 colleges and universities around the United States. Our database is updated several times a year with enrollment records received from participating institutions.
Our database also contains borrower data from participating guarantors, lenders, and loan servicers (i.e., name, Social Security Number, enrolled/not enrolled status, OE code of school last attended).
How Do I Access Clearinghouse Data?
Online Inquiry
After you sign a Clearinghouse participation agreement, you will receive a password that enables you to access our secure
Web site to review your borrowers' enrollment histories. You can download and print enrollment certifications and check data elements, such as withdrawal, graduation or anticipated graduation dates.
Enrollment Status Reports
We can automatically notify you of your borrowers' enrollment status, allowing you to track changes that occur through time. A number of Enrollment Status reporting options are available. To learn more, please contact us at service@studentclearinghouse.org or
